Meet Maggie

Hey there! I’m Maggie, the owner of Middle Sister Hair Co. in St. Michael, Minnesota — and, obviously, the middle sister.

I’ve been behind the chair for over six years, specializing in extensions, lived-in blondes, and dimensional brunettes. My favorite part of what I do? Helping you feel confident not just while you’re in my chair, but every time you leave it.

When I’m not in the salon, you can usually find me trying out a new recipe, on auntie duty, or hanging out with my dogs, Jimmy and Sandor. There’s also about a 99% chance I’ve got some kind of caffeinated drink in hand.

*All new extension guests are required to book a consultation prior to initial install appointment

Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes! New guests are always welcome to book a complimentary consultation, what ever service they’re wanting.

  • Not neccesarily! If you’re pretty sure you know what service you’re wanting you can absolutely book without a consultation. I always allow additional time at the beginning of appointments to ensure a thorough consultation for every appointment. However, all extension guests MUST book a consultation before booking any extension maintenance or install appointments.

  • Depending on your service, it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to multiple hours to complete. For a more accurate time estimate, refer to my booking website!

  • Haircuts: 6-12 weeks

    Root Retouch: 4-6 weeks

    Gloss Refresh: 6-8 weeks

    Extensions: 6-8 weeks

    Highlights: 6-12 weeks

    Lived-in Blondes: 3-6 months

  • Extension pricing varies by method, amount needed, and overall look desired. Book your free extension consultation for a precise pricing breakdown and maintenance plan!

  • Yes! I welcome all hair textures, densities, and colors in my chair

  • Yes! Please book a color consultation for pricing.

  • If possible, please come with clean, dry hair and 1-3 inspo photos. However, I do understand life gets busy, so come however you are!

  • While I understand life gets away from us at times, I ask that you please reschedule at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment, or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of your scheduled appointment.
